Masako DuBois

Masako has over 30 years of experience in singing, performing and teaching voice, piano and theory.   After studying opera and voice in a conservatory, she continued her career as a mezzo-soprano.  Currently, she is performing American standards with 17-instrument big bands while regularly being retained for engagements of sacred and gospel music and modern religious compositions.  The pedagogy of IVA expanded her ability to teach and perform a wide range of genres of music including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop and gospel music. Ages of her clients range from 3 to 75.   Fluent in both English and Japanese.   

日本の皆様、はじめまして。音楽大学の声楽科を卒業後、カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコベイエリアで音楽活動を続けています。歌、ピアノ、理論を教える傍ら、17名編成ビッグバンド（ジャズオーケストラ）と共演。また、教会音楽、ゴスペルミュージックなどクロスオーバーに幅広く活動しています。歌を習いたい、上手くなりたいけれどどうしたらいいかわからない、英語の歌をネイティブのように歌いたい、歌う機会を失ってしまった、プロの活動をしているけれど歌唱力をつけたいとお思いの方、是非ご連絡下さい。コロナ禍の状況下、スタジオをリモートに移して引き続き大きな成果を上げています。
