Estela Estrada Mate

🇪🇸 Spain

Music has always influenced Estela’s life; She grew up surrounded by her family's passion for classical music and opera. Her school period took place at the Waldorf School of Humanistic-Artistic Pedagogy, in Madrid, Spain, where art and music are essential in the school curriculum. Here, Estela started singing in the school choir and playing the piano from age seven.

Later, she and her family moved to Malaga, where she continued her elementary piano studies, which concluded at the Conservatory of Seville. Once here, Estela entered the Cristóbal de Morales Professional Conservatory of Music, studies that she is about to finish after thirteen years of vocational dedication.

While Estela was in Seville, in addition to conducting different choirs and accompanying various dance workshops on the piano, she was part of the Seville University Choir with tours around different cities in Spain together with the Hispalense Orchestra.

At the age of fifteen, after an audition process, she was selected by the prestigious Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Maryland (USA) where she could continue learning voice and piano, while also studying the academic subjects of high school. Here, Estela had the opportunity of offering various solo and group singing and piano concerts, both in small forums and large auditoriums. Furthermore, she was part of different amazing projects such as the Mamma Mia All School Musical at the Meryland Theater and the Washington County Talent Show as a semifinalist performing voice and piano.

Estela has been teaching music to kids, teens and adults since she was seventeen and, currently, has been certified in the IVA vocal technique (Institute for Vocal Advancement) and is teaching voice, piano and music theory lessons at the Liliana Aracil Voice Studio and vocal technique in the flamenco singing courses of Lidia Montero at Cristina Heeren Academy.

What does she offer? You can take online or in-person group or individual voice, piano and music theory lessons! And, if you are 8 to 15 years old, you should definitely join the studio’s intensive kids music course.

More courses and further information can be found on the studio’s website or social media!
