Designed for singers of all levels, the IVA Singers Bootcamp offered a hands-on training experience focused on helping singers build confidence, clarity, control, and expressive freedom. Through guided instruction, practical exercises, and focused exploration, participants gained tools and techniques they can apply directly to their singing and performance.

Whether you joined us live or are discovering the Bootcamp for the first time, you’ll have access to both tracks, giving you the opportunity to explore the full Bootcamp experience and learn at your own pace.

Pop / Contemporary Track

Explore contemporary singing through classes focused on pop vocal technique, stylistic choices, performance, and developing a strong, expressive voice. Singers will work with practical tools they can use to build confidence, flexibility, and authenticity in contemporary styles.

Renée Maranan

Renée Maranan is a vocal instructor, voice teacher trainer, public speaker, and certified life coach, with over 20 years of experience training singers in vocal function, stylization, musicianship, songwriting, performance, and mindset. Beyond her qualifications through the Institute for Vocal Advancement, Renée is also a certified Vocal Habilitation Professional through Vocal Health Education UK, as well as an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Annie Little

Annie Little is a Los Angeles-based vocal coach, performer, songwriter, and founder of The Unlimited Voice. An IVA Advanced Instructor, she helps singers build strong, reliable technique that translates directly into contemporary performance. As one half of the indie-pop duo Little & Ashley, Annie co-wrote and performed the songs featured in the international Amazon Kindle campaign, which led to a publishing deal with Concord Music. In addition to her work as a recording artist, she has appeared in national commercials, television, and film, including Argo, Jane the Virgin, and Good Trouble.

 

Chelsea Cowan

Chelsea Cowan is an international vocal coach, educator, and performance specialist with over a decade of experience working with singers around the world. She currently serves as Lead Vocal Coach at Wolf Studios NYC and runs SingingWithChelsea Vocal Studio. An Advanced Instructor certified through the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA), Chelsea works with developing and professional artists across pop, rock, R&B, country, musical theatre, and crossover styles. Her coaching combines functional, science-informed vocal technique with artistic freedom, specializing in mix and belt coordination, range development, agility, stylistic refinement, and sustainable vocal strength. Chelsea is passionate about helping singers understand their voices, build confidence, and develop the technical skills needed for long-term vocal health and performance.

Musical Theatre Track

Dive into the unique demands of musical theatre singing and performance, with classes exploring vocal technique, storytelling, character, stylistic choices, and audition preparation. Singers will gain practical tools for developing a healthy, expressive voice while building the confidence and skills needed to approach musical theatre repertoire and auditions.

Sarah Bishop

Sarah Bishop is a teacher and performer based in Pittsburgh and New York City. Her professional credits include Roundabout Theatre Company’s Tony Award winning production of Cabaret, the world premiere of The Griswolds’ Broadway Vacation at The 5th Avenue Theatre, and Tick, Tick… Boom! at Pittsburgh CLO. Sarah joined IVA in 2021 and specializes in helping singers develop pitch awareness and confidence, particularly those who struggle with singing in tune. She is the founder and creator of Pitch Please, an online ear training course for singers. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Sarah also specializes in Musical Theatre repertoire and enjoys working with singers across genres, including pop, rock, folk, and musical theatre.

Erin Wilson

Erin Wilson is a Broadway performer, director, and certified vocal specialist whose work spans professional performance, education, and vocal coaching. She serves on the Theatre and Music faculties at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, while also coaching working actors through her private studio in audition preparation, vocal technique, and career strategy. Erin has taught extensively through masterclasses, audition intensives, and coaching programs focused on repertoire, storytelling, and performance. An Instructor 3 certified through the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA), she specializes in vocal sustainability, long-form role development, and preparing performers for the demands of today’s professional industry. Her Broadway and national tour credits include Wicked, where she performed with all three U.S. companies, along with numerous regional theatre productions and screen appearances.

Rob Mofatt

Rob Moffat is a voice teacher, director, music director, choreographer, and college professor with extensive experience in theatre and vocal performance. After earning a degree in Music Dance Theatre from BYU, he worked professionally in Los Angeles and Las Vegas before returning to Utah in 2012 to join the Theatre Department faculty at Utah Valley University, where he helped develop the BFA in Performance. Rob holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Idaho and is a certified instructor through the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA). He currently teaches voice and musical theatre performance at BYU, directs throughout the regional theatre community, and works with singers through his private studio. His directing and music directing credits include numerous regional productions as well as his recent Met Opera debut with The Lamb of God. His performance and production credits span Broadway, national theatre, and film.
