It will also address how to balance the presence of potential vocal pathology or disorder, equipping teachers with strategies to confidently support singers while promoting vocal health and efficient vocal production.
About Maurice
Maurice E. Goodwin is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and voice teacher living in Houston, TX. Professionally he specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the singing voice and voice disorders at The Texas Voice Center. He currently serves as adjunct faculty at Lamar University teaching courses related to the singing voice and speech science. He is the owner of Goodwin Voice & Speech, a private practice, and co-founder of VoiceProEd, a continuing education company focused on the knowledge and skills for helping clients with voice problems.
