Masako has over 30 years of experience in singing, performing and teaching voice, piano and theory.   After studying opera and voice in a conservatory, she continued her career as a mezzo-soprano.  Currently, she is performing American standards with 17-instrument big bands while regularly being retained for engagements of sacred and gospel music and modern religious compositions.  The pedagogy of IVA expanded her ability to teach and perform a wide range of genres of music including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop and gospel music. Ages of her clients range from 3 to 75.   Fluent in both English and Japanese.
