Voice trainer, singer, and pianist Roberto delli Carri is an international vocal coach and expert in the American “MIX” method, which includes Speech Level Singing and Vocal Advancement. He began studying music at the age of 7. He has been a professional singer since 1997 and a vocal coach and interpretation teacher in Italy and abroad since 2007.

Since 2009, Roberto has collaborated as a vocal consultant and external teacher at conservatories and academies throughout Italy, holding vocal technique masterclasses and music/technical/artistic development workshops. He has collaborated with Mario Rosini (Sanremo 2004) and has been an international instructor, teaching private lessons and giving masterclasses in Russia (Saint Petersburg), Poland (European Vocal Camp), Scotland (Edinburgh), Austria (Vienna), and Germany (Munich).

In 2013, Roberto became a certified instructor with the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA), an international organization based in Las Vegas that is a leader in the training and certification of vocal coaches worldwide. He served as the representative for Italy and Malta and as the international coordinator for several years. In 2019, he was appointed as an IVA Educator. As an Educator he has the privilege of training, examining, and certifying vocal coaches worldwide through individual vocal lessons, mentorship, webinars, and masterclasses.

Roberto works full-time with great passion and success as a voice trainer and vocal coach at his vocal studio, working online via video conference with remote students in Italy and abroad, worldwide. He teaches students of all ages, styles, levels, and languages and counts among them nationally renowned artists and actors. Roberto has worked with participants in the Sanremo Festival, contestants on talent shows (X Factor, The Voice, Tale & Quale Show, Ti lascio una canzone, Amici), and trained the lead role of the main Italian musical theatre shows. He is often called upon to assist the artists he prepares during studio recording sessions or before their concerts.

Roberto is the co-author of the song “Paracadute,” written with Giulia Luzi (Sanremo 2017, Tale e Quale Show, Romeo & Giulietta) and Andrea Papazzoni, a track featured on the album “Togliamoci la voglia” by Giulia Luzi (2017 – Madli Records).

Roberto is highly regarded as one of the most experienced vocal technique instructors. He helps his students become the best singers they can be, providing them with a clear and logical understanding of how the voice actually works. He identifies their technical problems and provides quick and tangible solutions, producing continuous vocal excellence. His vocal demonstrations, knowledge, and mastery of multiple vocal styles (R&B, rock, musical theater, pop, jazz, opera) make him a 360° instructor capable of understanding the singers’ point of view, improving their musicality and interpretive abilities.

Roberto is an instructor with great empathy and energy. He is an excellent communicator and motivator, inspiring his clients and pushing them constantly towards new vocal challenges. Roberto considers himself a student of singing and says he wants to be one for his entire life.
