Megan Yates is a passionate vocal coach and educator at the Institute for Vocal Advancement, where she helps singers and voice teachers worldwide find more freedom, balance, and confidence in their voices. Based in Utah and teaching globally online, she brings over 15 years of high-class education, teaching, and performance experience to the studio.

With a strong background in musical theater—including National Tours, U.S. premieres, and dream roles like Cosette, Emma Carew, and Lucie Manette—Megan brings a vibrant performance edge to her teaching. She specializes in contemporary pop and musical theater styles, riffing and stylization, audition coaching, and helping intermediate to advanced singers get to the next level.
