Susana Montaña Martinez

   Susana Montaña, a Biscayne singer based in Valencia, Spain, is a Certified Vocal Instructor II from the Institute for Vocal Advancement, an international organization dedicated to the education and integrity of voice teachers around the globe.

She has been drawn to music and singing since she was a child. At 9 years old she performed solos in school competitions and also started learning the guitar, which became one of her other great passions. Sometime later she began to learn to read music, the piano and finally took classical singing lessons.

In 2007 she graduated from the Universidad del País Vasco, with a degree in Business Management, and specialized in taxation, which has helped to enhance her analytical skills and given her the tools to learn and to teach others.

With over 20 years of singing experience, she is currently taking part in a show in Valencia,

in which music and poetry are mixed to take the listener on a journey through the story and art of Federico Garcia Lorca, the famous Spanish poet and dramatist.

Despite the current focus of her work being on popular Spanish music, her repertoire includes a wide variety of musical styles including classical, pop, rock, and theatre-musicals, giving her the flexibility to train all genres.

   Susana Montaña, cantante Vizcaína residente en Valencia, es Instructora Vocal II certificada por el Institute for Vocal Advancement, una organización internacional dedicada a la formación de profesionales de la voz en todo el mundo.

Siendo muy niña comenzó a sentirse atraída por la música y el canto. Con tan solo 9 años ya representaba solos en competiciones escolares y comenzaba a tomar sus primeras clases de guitarra, otra de sus grandes pasiones. Poco después se inició con la música y el piano para finalmente terminar recibiendo formación de canto lírico.

En 2007 se graduó por la Universidad del País Vasco en Administración  y Dirección de Empresas, especializándose en Tributación. Gracias a ello mejoró su habilidad analítica, herramienta realmente útil a la hora de aprender y enseñar a otros.

Con mas de 20 años de experiencia en el canto, hoy en día participa en un espectáculo en Valencia, donde música y poesía se mezclan para guiar al espectador a través de la historia y el arte de Federico García Lorca, el famoso poeta y dramaturgo español.

Aunque actualmente trabaja con la música española más popular, su repertorio incluye una amplia variedad de estilos tales como musicales, clásico, pop o rock, por lo que es flexible en el entrenamiento de todo tipo de géneros.
