Darren Wicks
IVA Ambassador
Darren is a singer, jazz pianist, and choir director with a passion for working with singers and mentoring teachers. His career spans 25 years and includes work as a school music teacher, director of community choirs, university lecturer, amateur in musical theatre, and experience in teacher education.
He is an Advanced IVA-certified teacher and specialist in CCM singing. He also holds a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music Education, and Ph.D. in Voice Pedagogy.
Darren is the founder of Total Voice Studio in Melbourne, Australia. As a strong advocate for community singing, he directs the 120-voice Melbourne Singers of Gospel and is active in a number of music associations.
