Sarah Rose is a certified professional voice teacher and stage director who helps performers free their voice + move their audience. Sarah is currently the Artistic Director of the Youth Musical Musical Theatre Program at the Access to Music Foundation. Other highlights include working with University of British Columbia (UBC V-DAY), the frank theatre company, the Vancouver International Fringe Festival, and Girls Rock Camp Vancouver. Sarah created music and lyrics for LOST IN TWINE (Vancouver Fringe Festival), which she assistant directed and performed in as The Busker. Sarah is a graduate of the National Theater Institute (Advanced Directing Certificate), and the University of British Columbia (BA English Literature). As part of her IVA certification, Sarah continues her education in voice technique, science, pedagogy, and performance with some of the finest master teachers in the world, including Spencer Welch (Vancouver, BC) and Jeffrey Skouson (Las Vegas, NV). Sarah is also preparing for the Elementary Piano Pedagogy Certificate (The Royal Conservatory). Sarah maintains an active practice as a theatre maker and director, and as a voice and piano instructor.
