Yi Ling Loh

Yi Ling (also known as FYRA) is a Vocal & Piano Instructor from Singapore who believes her huge passion for music and artistry and keen interest to help students enjoy music like she did will definitely go a long way in her ensuring progress in her students.

Aside from possessing qualifications such as ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano and Grade 5 in Music Theory, she is also an Instructor I with the Institute of Vocal Advancement (IVA), from 27 Oct 2021.

Her greatest joy is helping her students understand and love their voice, while teaching them lifelong concepts about the voice and music. Having taught a large range of students starting from 3 years old, Yi Ling has the capabilities to adapt to different students' needs, by befriending them and guiding them patiently. Her cheerful personality is also something her students look forward to in every class!

Yi Ling is also a huge performer at heart, gaining many musical experiences over the years including performing as the female lead in her Primary School Musical, and as a lead singer in A Capella performances. She had also performed on the Yang Qin in her Secondary School’s Chinese Orchestra, and she actively pursues singing competitions locally. She also releases covers on her Youtube Channel. Her top works include: All I Want For Christmas is You (Mariah Carey) and Officially Missing You (Tamia).

Having graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Film, Sound, and Video and being in the film industry for 4.5 years prior to entering a teaching career, Yi Ling also possesses abilities in producing videos and music, and is tenacious in everything she agrees to do. She also produced instrumental tracks for clients such as former MP Amrin Amin's Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Videos in 2020.
